Jennifer Lynn Ditzler

Jennifer "Jen" Lynn Ditzler, 48, of Asheville, NC passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her home with family by her side.  Born on December 22, 1972 in Huntington, IN, she was the daughter of John and Patricia Ditzler of Candler, NC.  She was a graduate of Huntington North High School in Huntington, IN and an alumnus of Purdue University where she received her degree in Civil Engineering specializing in Environmental Engineering.  Jen was employed by Arcadis for the past 24 years as a Project Manager and was owner with her husband, Heath, of Zen Tubing in Asheville, NC.  Jen's passion for the environment was evident by her career choice and her charitable works.  Jen's adventurous spirit led to a life of world travel and numerous whitewater rafting adventures.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her spouse of 12 years, Heath White; siblings, Diane Close of Alexandria, IN, Peg Dunn of Candler, NC, Jim Ditzler (Gina) of Huntington, IN, Leigh Anne King (Troy) of Lafayette, IN, and Andy Ditzler (David Brodeur) of Atlanta, GA; thirteen nieces and nephews; and her cat, El Gato.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at St. Eugene Parish, Asheville, NC with Father Patrick Cahill officiating.  Streaming of the service will be available at livestreaming@StEugene.org.
