Jeffrey Besold

On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Jeffrey Besold, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 79 in Asheville, NC.  Jeffrey was born in NY to John and Helen Besold.  Jeff received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from C.W. Post and built and maintained a thriving business on Long Island for 25 years before retiring to North Carolina. An avid boater and active member of the U.S. Power Squadron, Jeffrey was happiest on the water. Later in life, Jeffrey and his wife, Karen, moved to the charming town of Black Mountain, NC, to enjoy the beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Jeffrey was a talented wood craftsman who made many pieces of furniture. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen Betty Besold née Weiner, daughter Holly Apgar, son-in-law and two granddaughters.
