Jason Randall Erwin

Jason Randall Erwin, 50, of 11 Hunters View Dr, Alexander, passed away peacefully at home October 20, 2024. Jason was born August 5, 1974. He attended West Buncombe Elementary and Erwin High School. He was preceded in death by his father Randy Erwin, stepfather John Teague, and sister Shannon Erwin Jones. He is survived by his mother Nola Hunter Teague, brother Wayne Erwin (Vicki), sister Lori Teague (Blair), stepmother Jane Erwin, nieces, Katie Purcell (Matt), Jada Erwin, and nephew Javin Favichia (Lauren). Also, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Jason worked for Firehouse Subs for many years. They were his other family. Jason was also an avid football fan and Carolina Panthers were his team. He was very hopeful that they would have a good season this year. So come on Panthers, let’s get this done. Jason was a caregiver. He helped care for his sister Shannon, Grandmother Hunter, John and his Mom over the years. There will be a memorial at a later date.
