Janice Yuvon West

Janice Yvonne Hibbard West, 90, of Hendersonville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville. Born December 1, 1930, in New Albany, PA, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Hibbard and Pauline Corson Wright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. West. She had resided in both Pittsfield, MA and Roswell, NM prior to moving to Asheville, NC. Surviving are her children, Ken Staples and his spouse, Renee, of Loganville, GA and Neil Staples and his spouse, Nina Rizzo, of Bristol, VA; grandchildren, Shannon Colley of Charlotte, NC; great grandson, Ryan Garrity of Concord, NC; and great granddaughter, Taylor Garrity. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
