Isabella Danielle Roberts

Isabella Danielle Roberts, 20, passed away at her home on February 10, 2020.  Isabella is preceded in death by her loving father, Gary Sam Roberts, who died February 25, 2016.  She is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carl and Bessie Roberts.  
Isabella is survived by her loving mother, Danielle Brooke Roberts of Asheville, a sister, Lia Roberts, Santa Barbara, CA, and her maternal grandparents, Linda Susan and Alan Dale Smathers, Waynesville, and a special friend, Erick Larson of Asheville. 
Services to honor and celebrate Isabella’s life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Kenilworth Presbyterian Church, 123 Kenilworth Rd. Asheville, NC 28803.  Visitation will be at 1:30 pm followed by the service at 2:30 pm.  The Reverend Brian Cagle and The Reverend Dr. Allen Smith, minister of Kenilworth Presbyterian Church will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please donate and make checks payable to Kenilworth Presbyterian Church at the above address.  The Kenilworth Church family have been great friends of Isabella and her Mother.  
Isabella had many Aunts and Uncles and cousins who all loved her so much.  She also had so many special friends who visited, played with her and prayed for her. 
Isabella had many caregivers that she loved so much.  Her nurses, Tasha Whitted, Michelle Woodsworth, and Deanna Bradley.  Her teachers, Kathy Gragg and Kathy Blossfield.  Her therapist Karen and Tacy, Brooks, Jen and Lorraine and so many others who loved her and supported her many needs. We honor all of them for their loving care.  
Isabella was a bright child trapped in a very compromised body.  Even through her hardships she shed love and light in this world to all who knew her. Isabella had a great sense of humor and could bring laughter to even those who were sad.  She battled many sicknesses and several surgeries but had such a will to live like none of us has ever seen.  She passed peacefully in her sleep in the early hours on Monday.  No more pain and suffering and now in the arms of Jesus.
