Isaac Henry Metz Jr., 66, of Fairview passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the John F. Keever Jr., Solace Center in Asheville. Born November 12, 1952 in Asheville, he was the son of the late Isaac H. Metz and Geneva Wyatt Metz. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Electric in 2016 after 16 years of service. His passion was working on and rebuilding cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Donna Anderson. Surviving is his daughter, Misty Hensley and her spouse, Robert, of Fairview; sisters, Sarah Brooks and Diane Edmonds both of Tennessee, and Myrtle Miller and her spouse, Norman, of Asheville; and grandchildren, Tiffany and Ty Hensley.
