It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Leo "Bud" Reese Jr. on April 14, 2025 at the age of 72. Harry was born on February 22, 1953 in Asheville, North Carolina, to Harry Leo Reese and June Aiken Reese.
Harry was a graduate of Woodfin Elementary and Clyde A. Erwin High School. After losing his father at a young age, he and his brother took care of their mother, and Harry carried that mantle for the rest of his life. This also includes his close friends, Lewis Maney and Kelly Robinson, who he cared for deeply.
He loved road trips and travel, especially returning to the Philippines to visit family he adored.
Harry worked in textile industry, then as a manager at Putt-Putt mini golf course and later in security.
He was gregarious, with a thirst for knowledge. He had a love for American history and reading, guitar and music, and golf. He enjoyed following the Atlanta Braves and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Harry is survived by his wife, Erlinda "Lynndee" Reese and children Andrei "Yogi" Baliguat, Tonya "T.K." (Josh) Reese Jones and their children (his grandchildren) Helix and Matilda, and Brian (Heather) Bullman and their children; his brother Stan (Sue) Reese, and many nieces and nephews.
While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. He will be missed dearly.
Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. We would also like to thank CarePartners Hospice.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
