Glenn Metcalf

Glenn Metcalf, age 76, of Marshall, NC passed away on January 5, 2025 at Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC.  Glenn was born on June 2, 1949 to the late Toney Metcalf and Eula Woody Metcalf.

Glenn was a self-employed textile worker, who loved his job.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing Gospel music with living waters for 20+ years, helping with benefits for others in need, and helping his son work on trucks.

Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Metcalf.  He is also preceded in death by his sons, Randy Metcalf and Bob Baldwin.  He is survived by his other son, Mitchell Metcalf, of Marshall, NC; his brothers, Jerry Metcalf, Kenny Dale Metcalf, and Ray Metcalf (Teresa), all of Flag Pond, TN; and his sisters, Margaret Raven (Carl), of Benton, KY and Faye Rice (Jay), of Flag Pond, TN.

A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date with Cline Hensley officiating.
