Glenda Gail Reece

Glenda Gail Reece, 75, of Candler, NC, passed away July 16, 2022 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville, NC.

Glenda was born on July 4, 1947 in Buncombe County to the late Leonard Vance McElrath and Golda Hensley McElrath. She is preceded in death by her husband, MacAuther Reece, and brother Harold Hensley.

Surviving Glenda is her son, Vance Reece (Annie) of Candler, NC; daughter, Becky Burrell (Leon); brother, Robert McElrath of Candler, NC; granddaughters, Rachel Burrell, Faith Burrell, both of Waynesville NC; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held July 19, 2022 at Hice Hill Cemetery in Candler, NC with Pastor Willie Warren officiating.
