Gladys Mona "B" Clark Henderson

Gladys Mona “B” Clark Henderson, 79, of Weaverville passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. Born on August 12, 1944 in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel Taylor Clark and Gladys Maybell Hill Clark. She was a graduate of Lee Edwards High School class of 1962 and was a member of South Fork Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her loyal dog “Ada”, gardening, ancestry research, solving jigsaw puzzles, canning and freezing meats and vegetables, and homemaking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Henderson, and brother, Tom Clark. Surviving are her children, Kimberly Landon and her spouse, Larry, of Weaverville, Clark Henderson and his spouse, Christie, of Weaverville, and Chris Henderson and his spouse, Nelly, of Swannanoa; brother, Charles W. Fox and his spouse, Linda, of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Whitney Joy of Candler, Dallas Henderson and his spouse, Callie, of Fayetteville, Savannah Lunsford and her spouse, Adam, of Cary, Calan Henderson and his fiancée, Kristin Davids, of Denver, CO, Cailee Owens and her spouse, John, of Williamsburg, KY, Sean Henderson of Swannanoa, Ryan Landon of Weaverville, Lauren Guyton and her spouse, Nathan, of Charlotte, and Marc Landon of Denver, CO; and great-grandchildren, Mabry, Ella, Bristol, Annalise, Carolena, and soon to arrive, Isla. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Newbridge Baptist Church with her son, Rev. Clark Henderson and Rev. David Jones officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to South Fork Church, P.O. 2272.
