Gary Lee Williams

Gary Lee Williams, aged 71, passed away May 29, 2026 in Asheville, NC.

Gary was born March 15, 1955, in Buncombe County, NC, to the late Walter Clyde Williams and Lorena Anders Williams. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing golf. Above all things he loved God.

In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in passing by his siblings, Paul Williams, Margaret Ann Williams, Shirley Crisp, and Warren Williams.

Gary is survived by his children, Tiffany Lynn Shepherd of Weaverville, NC and Chad Michael Williams of Candler, NC; sisters, Gay Nell Rice, Susie Murray, Betty Roberts, Judy Farina and Helen Sawyer; grandchildren, Landen C. Shepherd, Skylar S. Shepherd, Alora Williams and Ryker Evans; and many nieces and nephews who he loved very much.
