Everette Billy Patterson

Everette Billy Patterson, 82, of Brevard passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at home. Born March 21, 1939 in Brevard, NC, he was a son of the late Angus and Ossie Patterson. He was a graduate of Rosman High School and an Army veteran. Everette was employed at Dupont for 15 years before answering the call to preach. He pastored several churches until he retired from Victory Baptist Church in Rosman, NC. Of his many enjoyments, hunting and fishing was among his favorites. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ann Galloway Patterson; sons, Randy and Paul Patterson; brother, Clarence Patterson; and half siblings, Louise Valore, Zelma Cassell, and Elwood Cassell. Surviving are his children, Rick Patterson and his spouse, Sharron, Jack Patterson, and Carole “Cricket” Roberts and her spouse, Charles, all of Brevard, NC; siblings, Coy Patterson and his spouse, Barbara, of Oklahoma, and Jerry Patterson and his spouse, Ruby, of Brevard; half sibling, Lois Owen of Brevard; thirteen grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Big Hill Cemetery in Brevard.
