Eva Maria Summey, 73, died quietly in her sleep Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in an Asheville nursing home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Albert Jerry Summey and her birth mother, Christianna Martha Hermann, nee Meyer.
Mrs. Summey worked for 44 years at First Citizen’s Bank in Asheville. She was an avid reader and gardener.
She is survived by her loving daughter Jenniffer Christine Smith, her only child. Also surviving are a beloved grand niece, Nicole Llagas, brothers Rudy Senne, Bill Senne, sister, Maria Welch, niece Heidi Llagas, nephews, Walter Senne Sr and Robert Senne.
There will be no funeral service.
