Ethan Isaiah Jepsen, 19, of Asheville, NC, entered into rest unexpectedly on July 2, 2024, at Mission Hospital.
Ethan was born on October 3, 2004, in Asheville. He is preceded in death by Peggy Willis (great-grandmother) and Robert Peterson III (uncle). Ethan had significant interest in the arts and was an expressive, creative young man who enjoyed playing guitar, freestyling, drawing, and creating art in general. Ethan was also very much loved as a son, brother, cousin, uncle, and nephew who enjoyed spending quality time with his extended family.
Ethan is survived by his mother, Crystal Estelle Wood of Arden, NC; brother, Tristan Wood; sister, Lilyanne Cicale; and father Benjamin Isaiah Jepsen; maternal grandparents, Virginia Morales Hernandez and Vincent Perez; paternal grandmother, Janet Jepsen; aunts, Victoria Pickens (Andrew), Sarah Scibetta (Biagio), Vanessa McDonald (Andre); April Burroughs (Trevor Garland); uncle, Matthew Burroughs; cousins, Talib Ledford, Leila Pickens, Carter Pickens, Ariana McDonald, Antonio Carson Jr., Matthew Burroughs Jr., Isaac Burroughs, Noah Peterson, Gianna Scibetta, Lucia Scibetta, Mateo Scibetta; and second cousin, Kailani Carson.
A visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in the chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in the chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services.
