Erlene A. (Brown) Ashley

Erlene A. “Cindy” Brown Ashley, age 96, of Asheville, NC passed away on November 21, 2025 at Aston Park in Asheville, NC.  Cindy was born in Ohio on November 10, 1929 to the late Earl Albert Brown and Alverna Viola Beitzel Brown.

Throughout her life, Cindy enjoyed music, art, reading, and gardening.  She graduated from Ohio State with a BS in Nursing.

Cindy is preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert Brown and Donald Brown.  She is survived by her son, Donald Ashley (Jessica), of Skwentna, AK, as well as by her grand-daughters, Nydia Sears (Jaden), of Denver City, TX, Maree Jobe, of Palmer, AK, Emma Jobe, of Graham, TX, and Aubri Jobe, of Skwentna, AK.  She is also survived by her great-grandson, Tucker Gonzalez, of Denver City, TX and her cousin, Dick Lutz (Nancy), of Louisville, KY.
