Elsie Jean (Hudson) Oakley

Elsie Jean Hudson Oakley, 72, of Franklin, NC passed away on November 13, 2024 at Mission Health.

Elsie was born on September 6, 1952 in Jackson, KY to the late McKinley Hudson (1993) and Grace Pauline Dunn Hudson (1994). She is also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Montgomery.

Before moving to Franklin, North Carolina, Elsie lived in Jackson, Kentucky and in Saint Cloud, Florida.

Surviving Elsie is her husband, Thomas Oakley; her sons, Timothy “Tim” Stuart Oakley (Fahlen Hays) and Edward “Eddie” McKinley Oakley (Jody) of Franklin, NC; brothers, Edward Hudson of Jackson, KY and George Clay Hudson (Martha Robinson) of Tampa, FL; sisters, Billie Phipps (Dannie) of Jackson, KY, Deborah McAnallen (Jerry) of New Castle, PA, and Regina Elliott (Les) of Franklin, NC; granddaughters, Kaylee and Jasmine Oakley of Highlands, NC, Kobi Oakley of Jackson, KY, Bella Oakley of Franklin, NC, and Kilee Gillum of Richmond, KY; grandsons, Hayden Oakley and Keegan Gillum of Franklin, NC; and special daughter, Rhonda Oakley of Highlands, NC.
