Elizabeth "Cricket" Faye Callahan

Elizabeth “Cricket” Faye Callahan, 50, of Asheville, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. A native of Bat Cave, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Kenneth Callahan, Sr. and Mattie Seay Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, William Kenneth and John Richard Callahan. She liked camping and hiking. She also loved to plant flowers and to be with family especially on holidays. Elizabeth is survived by her loving sister, Sheila Anne Callahan Lewis (Don) of Candler; step-sister, Cyndi Melton; nephews, Chris Greene (Mellissa) of Richland and Cody Callahan of Candler; niece, Cheryl Phillips (Chris) of Myrtle Beach, SC; special friends, Bobby Degroot of Oteen and Kerrie Rogers of Leicester. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00 PM at Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel.
