Edward LeCompte

  Edward LeCompte of Asheville, North Carolina, died June 24, 2025. Born September 23, 1956, to the late Philip and Hazel Johnson LeCompte in Lakewood, New Jersey, he was sixty-eight.

            Edward served in the United States Army. He was a hardworking auto mechanic who loved working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed Elvis puzzles and word searches, as well as camping. Edward was a loving father and grandfather – his first love was always his “girls,” and he loved spending time with his granddaughters.

            Edward is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Aaron Parker) and Megan, both of Asheville; siblings, Philip LeCompte of New Jersey, Tom LeCompte of Florida, Johnny LeCompte of New Jersey, and Terry Dolan of Florida; granddaughters, Isabella and Alice, both of Asheville; and by his former spouse, Doreen LeCompte, of Asheville. Edward was loved, and will be missed by many.
