Earnest B. "Earnie" Jones

Earnest B. “Earnie” Jones, 70, of Candler, NC passed away May 27, 2024 in his home.

Earnest was born January 17, 1954 in Haywood County to the late Leroy Jones and Pauline Ball Jones. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Shelia Passmore and Lesia Craig; and brothers, Roylee Jones and Rickey Jones.

Earnest worked as an electrician for Ken Greene Electric and Larry Yinson Electric. He was a member of the Enka Lions Club. Earnest loved to deer hunt and fish. He also enjoyed building race car motors with his friends and loved his friends and family.

Surviving Earnest is his loving partner of 50 years, Celina Gail Conner; son, Nathan Lang Jones; sisters, Almeria Waldrop (Michael), Pam Goodson (Levon); grandson, Ayden Lang Jones; granddaughter, Elaine James Bolick; nieces and nephews, Jordan Matthews, Nicolas Waldrop, Angie Gwalttney, Marc Craig, Michael Childs, Stephanie Haney, Justin Goodson, and Ryan Goodson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler, NC, with Pastor Joe Yelton officiating.
