Dorothy Jean Williams Evans, 71, of Six Mile, SC passed away on April 9, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Leicester, NC.

Dorothy was born May 13, 1951 in Asheville, NC to the late Glenn and Doris Elizabeth Kuykendall Williams. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Williams.

Dorothy was a graduate of Clyde A. Erwin High School. She was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed visiting Graceland and Spending lots of time with family.

Surviving Dorothy are her sons, David Wayne King and Glenn Edward King both of Asheville, NC; daughters, Donna Marie King of Greenville, SC, and Terri Ann King of Leicester, NC; sisters, Eloise Damen of Eagle River, AK, and LaRene Owenby of Six Mile, SC; uncle, David Kuykendall of Norco, CA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the New Liberty Baptist Church. Reverend Garry L. Rogers will be officiating. The visitation will start 30 minutes prior to the service.
