Dorothy Garris Teachout, 79, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away March 9, 2023 at her home.
Dorothy was born September 24, 1943 in Pitt Co, NC, to the late Walter Buck Garris and Eva Mae Hardy. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Coley, George Teachout; brothers, Willie Williams, Peewee Briley, Walter Garris Jr., Rudy; and grandson, William Roest.
Dorothy loved Sewing, crafts, and taking her grandkids to the lake.
Surviving Dorothy are her daughters, Debbie (Brian Johnson) of Hedersonville, NC, Dorothy (Tom Hester) of Rawlins, WY, Antoinette Roest (Jeff Rowe) of Muskegon, MI; sons, Rick (Michelle Coley) of Hendersonville, NC, Bobby (Michelle Coley) of Marion, IN; stepson, Jerry (Robin Teachout) of Rutherfordton, NC; sisters, Billie Jean (White) of Florida, Marie (Riley); grandchildren, Brent Bower, Eric Johnson, Jack Bower, Antoinette Stedman, Crystal Schroader, Erin Thompson, Jeanie Tanis, Daniel Thompson, Jay Roest, Bobby Lumley, Sammie Lumley, Ricky Sabrino, Ariana Johnson; and 42 great grandchildren.
