Donald Weatherman Sr. Obituary

Donald J. Weatherman Sr. 88, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019, at the CarePartners Solace Center.
Known to most of his friends and family as "Hawk-Eye" He enjoyed reading, music, and being an Electrician to Western, N.C. He graduated from Sand Hill High School and spent 9 years in the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice, a daughter Donna Lee, and a son, Donald J. Weatherman, Jr. (Chip), A sister, Cora and a brother, C. B.: many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, and 3 brothers. The family would like to thank the Caring Professionals who supported Don and those at the North Carolina State Veterans Home, 62 Lake Eden Road, Black Mountain, N. C. 28711.
He was attended by a Cadre of knowledgeable and caring Physicians, Nurses, Specialists, and Technicians.

A Memorial & Celebration Service will be held November 23, 2019 at 3:pm at Edgewood Baptist Church in Candler. His memory may be honored by contributing to a Veteran's organization of your choice.
