Donald Wayne Penton

Donald Wayne Penton, age 58, of Black Mountain, NC passed away on October 27, 2025 at his residence.  Donald was born in San Bernardino, CA on August 8, 1967 to John Morton (Linda) and the late Terri Morton.  Donald proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1989-1996.

Donald is preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Thomas.   He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Lauren Penton, of Houston, TX, Geena Lupe Elaine Penton, of Hoston, TX, and Isabella Jolie Penton, of Houston, TX; his siblings, Angela Morton Hefner (Matt), of Chester, SC and John Morton (Dorothy), of Edgemoor, SC; and his grandchildren, Kacee Lou Walton, of Houston, TX, Genesis Rios, of Houston, TX, Evelyn Kitmanyen, of Houston, TX, Eli Kitmanyen, of Houston, TX, Noah Rios, of Paragould, AR, and Emily Rios, of Paragould, AR.

A memorial service will be held on November 8th, 2025 from 12-2 pm at First Baptist Church of Richburg.  Pastor John Parris will officiate the service.
