Dianne Buris Crowell House

Dianne Buris Crowell House, 80, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Four Seasons Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC.

Dianne was born July 12, 1944 in DeKalb, GA to the late Joseph G. Crowell and Buris F. Crowell. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in education, focusing on math and science. Dianne taught for 16 years. While her circumstances allowed, she devoted her time to Bible education work. She later discovered her passion for design, with a focus on fine cabinetry. Dianne loved reading, nurturing her plants, and time spent with her grandchildren.

Surviving Dianne are her daughters, Jennifer Simpson of Hendersonville, NC, Rebecca Fowler of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Wanda White of Waynesville, NC; brother, Joe Crowell of Hendersonville, NC; grandsons, Brandon Fowler of Birmingham, AL, Zack Fowler of Greenville, SC, Jack Simpson of Farmington, NM; granddaughters, Sarah Simpson of Pune, India, and Kate Johnson of Hendersonville, NC.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2:00PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1305 5th Ave W, Hendersonville, NC 28739.
