Dewey C. Ford

Dewey C. Ford, of Candler, North Carolina, passed away from natural causes on June 16, 2025.  Dewey was preceded in death by his partner of 44 years, Burnie P. Rice. Dewey’s parents, Clarence Ford and Ruth Ford are both deceased. Dewey owned and operated a television repair shop in West Asheville before he retired.  Dewey was loved by many friends and family members. He was always the life of the party. He loved to cook and entertain his friends. We will always remember Dewey for his kind and gentle spirit that he displayed every day of his life. He was a true and wonderful friend.

Dewey’s friends and family will gather to celebrate his life at his home on June 29 at 2pm. Dewey will then be placed at Ray family cemetery with his partner.
