David Curtis Caldwell, 65, of Leicester, NC, passed away September 23, 2021 at the Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC. David was born in Cocke Co, TN to the late Carrol Curtis Caldwell and Viola Irene Brown David worked construction and plant work for Lu Star Dye and Finish. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church where he was saved. Surviving David is his wife, Connie Bradbury; sons, Jacob Reed Caldwell of Leicester, NC, Samuel Caldwell and Family of Weaverville, NC; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Bradbury Duyck (Jerry) of Weaverville, NC, Missy Caldwell Fisher and Family of Weaverville, NC; brother, Alan Sprouse (Candy) of Candler, NC; sister, Thelma Allison (Dave) of Leicester, NC; and grandson, Curtis Rex Duyck of Weaverville, NC. Several nieces, nephews and cousins who he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Charles and Danny Caldwell. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date on his social media account. A special thanks to Aunt Joyce Caldwell Wiggins who always showed him love and support.
