David Phillip Bishop, 57, of Asheville, NC passed away March 7, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
David was born October 19, 1965 to the late Euel Oley Bishop and Nellie Mae West Bishop. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Pat Cothran and Cathey Greenway; and brother, Jimmy Bishop.
David loved spending time with his favorite person in the whole world: Kolbi Lynn.
Surviving David is his daughter, Ashley Bishop (Travis Lewis) of Weaverville, NC; son, Justin Bishop (Sarah Moore) of Asheville, NC; sisters, Jean Cogdill of Asheville, NC, Alyce Webb of Old Fort, NC, Betty Cannon (Roger) of Marion, NC, Linda Effler of Candler, NC; brothers, Bob Bishop (Susie) of Asheville, NC, Randy Bishop of Jacksonville, FL, Larry Bishop (Tonya) of Candler, NC; granddaughter, Kolbi Lynn Grooms of Weaverville, NC; step grandchildren, Jansen, Braden, and Abby McMahan all of Asheville, NC; and lots of nieces and nephews.
