Dale Edward Hickey

Dale Edward Hickey passed on to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 19, 2021. He grew up in Harvey, Illinois where he and his mother served at their local church in many areas. He later attended Lincoln Christian College where the Lord inspired him to become a pastor. After first serving as a pastor in his home church, he would meet the love of his life and future wife, Eve (Everitt), while pastoring in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Together, they would build a family. Dale would go on to pastor for most of his life as well as later becoming a Business General Manager. He had a passion for spreading the good news of Christ in a real, humorous, and loving way. He had a heart for the forgotten and lived a life of blessing others and meeting their needs. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Eve E. Hickey; his daughter, Lauren E. Edwards (Sam); his sons: Luke D. Hickey (Francesca), Logan D. Hickey, Lance E. Hickey; and five grandchildren. Memorial Service: 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Brookstone Church Merrimon Campus (283 Merrimon Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801).
