Clifton Edward Bowden, JR (67) passed away on Friday night May 16th, 2025, at Memorial Mission Hospital after a 5-month battle with kidney failure.
Clifton was a wild, strong, untamed spirit who loved horses, camping, working, and taking long mountain drives listening to good music and stopping in to visit friends. Deep in the woods with his horse and some buddies was his favorite place to be. He was deeply faithful and walked closely with God in his later years and wanted meaningful conversations with everyone about faith and life and the holy spirit.
He is survived by his daughter Natasha Rose Bowden, his son Kyle Ryan Bowden, his sister Kay Briggs, sister Judy Hollifield and brother Wade Bowden and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Everette Bowden and Ernie Mae Scott, His stepfather James Moss, his brother Jay Moss and his ex-wife Kimberly Lewis.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for friends and family.
