Christopher “Chris” Hugh Mosher

Christopher “Chris” Hugh Mosher, 54, of Asheville, NC peacefully passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Solace Center.

Chris was born on June 22, 1971 in Aurora, CO to Lawrence Hugh Mosher of Davenport, IA and Jane A. Culberson McIntyre of Asheville, NC.

Chris spent his younger years growing up in Iowa. His family eventually moved to Illinois where he graduated from Aledo High School, and he later moved to North Carolina where he resided for the last 30+ years. Chris loved the Lord and would share the love of Jesus Christ to those around him. Chris enjoyed hiking listening to music and disc golf, bowling with his league, and spending time with his friends and family. He also loved watching baseball (especially the Cubs), basketball, and college football.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his sister, Sandi Marie Henderson of Weaverville, NC; nieces Alixis Rayne Ballard of Marshall, NC, Maycie Skye Owenby of Marshall, NC, Isabella Marie Henderson of Weaverville, NC; great nephews, Carter Lane Ballard, Cainan Knox Ballard, Charlie Jacob Ballard; and great niece Charlotte Jayne Ballard.

A service will be held at Gateway Church located at 20 Integrity Drive, Woodfin, NC 28804. The service will be officiated by Pastor William Hassakamp.
