Christopher Lee Bicknell

Christopher Lee Bicknell, 53, Asheville NC, passed away on July 28, 2022.
"Chris" was born in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his mother, Jackie White of Asheville, NC and father,
Wilbur Bicknell of Pinellas Park, FL. Chris was predeceased by his sister Wendy Bicknell Shelton and both
maternal and paternal grandparents.
Recently Chris was the victim of a pedestrian/vehicle accident. Chris was working very hard and looking
forward to prosthetic limbs and wearing his favorite shoes again. Chris was very artistic and generous.
He was a great chef and enjoyed home improvement projects. He was most proud to have volunteered,
several years ago, at the Swannanoa and Haywood "Welcome Table" feeding others. Chris loved the
mountains as he did the beach. Chris is no longer in pain. At a future date, his ashes will join those of his
sister and maternal grandmother under the "Wind Chime Tree" at the WNCVC. No other services are
planned at this time.
