Christine Hall Stevens

Christine Hall Stevens, 90, of Leicester passed away on Wednesday Dec 8th 2021 at home with her family. She was born in Haywood County to the late Delone and Mallie Penland Hall. Mrs. Stevens was one of many siblings. She was preceded in death by brothers William, Alfred, Loren, and Earl Hall and sisters Jessie Reynolds, Clarise Norman, and Florence Worley She is survived by 3 sisters Charlotte Krashoc, Retty Davis, Betty Hensley and a brother Jimmy Hall She was also preceded in death by her husband David A Stevens. Family members include daughter Darlene Glisson and her late husband Jim of Memphis Tenn, daughter Mary Hawkins and her husband David of Leicester, son David Stevens and his wife Clara of Leicester, son Bruce Stevens and his wife Diane of Leicester, and son Dennis Stevens and his wife Becky of Leicester. Christine enjoyed visits from her 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She loved her family. Christine was a devoted wife, a Mom, a homemaker, a previous employee of Swannanoa Cleaners, an assistant to the family business Stevens Mail Service, and was a private, simple, humorous, and loving joy to be around. The family would like to Thank all the Hospice folks for their end of life guidance and support. A special Thank You to Patti for her involvement in seeing that all patient and caretaker needs were met.
