Charlie Grogg Obituary

Charlie W. Grogg, aged 52, of Zirconia, NC, passed away April 23, 2023 at Mission Hospital.

Charlie was born on January 24, 1971, in Westminster, MA, to the late Charlie W. Grogg and Mary Smith Grogg. He was employed at Lassonde Pappas and a member of the Baptist faith. Charlie loved riding motorcycles, going to drag races and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Helmick.

Those left to cherish his memory, is his wife of 29 years, Tammy Grogg; son, Bryan Grogg (Tracie) of Asheville; Father-in-law, Donnie Latta (Joyce); Brother-in-law, Steve Latta; Brother, Allen ‘’Mick’’ Helmick (Valerie) of Fairview, NC; grandchildren, Colton Grogg of Asheville, NC, Sarah Grogg of Asheville, NC and Madison Grogg of Asheville, NC; nieces and nephews, Dennis ‘’DJ’’ Helmick (Lori) of Hampton, TN, Sharon Hilmon of Roan Mountain, TN, Karen Potter of Elizabethton, TN, and Blake Latte of Hendersonville, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
