Charles Winberg Obituary

Charles Donald “Charlie” Winberg, 72, of Hickory, NC passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Charlie was born in Maryland on April 28, 1953 to the late August Frederick Winberg and Eleanor Sue Rogers. He proudly served our country in the US Army.

Surviving Charlie are his daughters, Shannon Crow (Travis) of Lenoir, NC, Sherri Greene (Rob) of Lenoir, NC; sisters, Teresa Burnette of Morganton, NC, Camellia Rogers of Charlotte, NC; grandsons, Christian Church of Lenoir, NC, Alec Scruggs (Sara) of Lenoir, NC; granddaughters, Kirsti Shatley (Seth) of Lenoir, NC, Trinity Herring (Cayce) of Raleigh, NC, and Gracie Baker (Luke) of Lenoir, NC.
