Charles Miller Obituary

Charles Pritchard Miller Jr., 88, of Flat Rock, NC, passed away May 3, 2021 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Born in Asheville, NC, he was the son of Charles Miller Sr. and Lila Louise Miller. Charles is also preceded in death by his son, Roderick Lee Miller; his sister, Betty Miller Young of Asheville, NC, and brother, Claude Bernice Miller of Portsmouth, VA. He proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Korean War. Charles was a master mechanic and a skilled leather and wood craftsman.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Marlena Miller; son, William Charles Miller (Kathy) of Fairview, NC; daughter, Kathy Yvonne Bryce of Manning, SC; brother, Robert Lee Miller, of Arden, NC; grandson, William Russell Carter of Florence, SC; and granddaughter, Charlotte Yvonne McDaris of Manning, SC.

A Memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Judes Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
