Charles John (Charlie) Careccia

Charles John (Charlie) Careccia, 78, of Mars Hill, NC, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019. 
Charles was born in Hialeah, FL to the late John Joseph Careccia and Blanche J Pajor Knuck. He is also preceded in death by his son, Tony Careccia.
Charles proudly served our country for 8 years in the US Airforce. He was a retired mechanic who enjoyed Drag racing and Ham radio. 
Wife Becky Careccia passed away 9 days later ; sons: Charles Careccia (Kitty) of Asheville, NC, John Max Careccia (Loretta) of Phoenix, AZ, Billy Careccia (Alisa) of Chiefland, FL, Johnny Ray Carecia of Screven, GA; daughters,Gina Careccia Fowler (Ted) of Old Town FL, Vivian Careccia English of Old Town, FL, Donna Hand (Michael) of Greenville, SC, Tabitha Jordan of Chiefland, FL; brother, Edward Careccia, of Mars Hill NC; sister, Rosemary Snelling of Mars Hill NC; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration of life will be held November 2nd in Mars Hill NC
