Charles "Danny" Biddix

Charles “Danny” Biddix, 71, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 2, 2024, at home with family by his side.

Danny was born October 22, 1952 in Aiken, SC. He is the son of the late Ruby R. Biddix and JC Biddix of Asheville.

Danny loved golf, bowling (always competing with his brothers), fishing, Nascar races, and dancing. Danny was employed for Bill Walker Tire and Buncombe County Landfill. When he retired he enjoyed his part time jobs with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and WNC Mountain Trout Fishing.

Danny is survived by his wife, Joy S. Biddix, his sons, DJ Biddix, Chase Biddix (Gracie), his daughters Shelley Tate (Charlie), Anitra Hollifield (Daniel), stepson Joshua Sellers, and stepdaughter Rebekah Blaylock (Jonathan), nine grandchildren (Chelcie, Deanna, Devin, Candle, Tyler, Taylor, Rachel, Blaise and Chance) ,seven step grandchildren (Avery, Harper, Knox, Pearson, Campbell, Finley and Reed) and three great grandchildren (Liam, Ellie and Diraeth), sister Rita Conner (Lloyd), and brothers Bruce Biddix (Mary) and Jerry Biddix (Kathy).

He was preceded in death by his brother Stanley Biddix.

  A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church, 80 Olivette Road, Asheville, NC 28804.  Pastor Jonathan Blaylock officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
