Brenda Kay Jennings Griffin

Brenda Kay Jennings Griffin passed away peacefully on Friday, November 18. She was 63 years old. She was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina. And grew up in the small community of Oakley in Asheville. From there she settled in the town of Mars Hill. She loved the small town life and the beautiful mountains. Brenda was most skilled with making friends and showing love. She never met a stranger. Her home was always open to anyone in need. She was also the green thumb of the family and if you weren't paying her any attention she would take clippings from your plants and take them home with her to grow them! She is survived by her two sons, James Brandon Jennings and his fiance Rebecca Jubilee Labb. Joshua Thomas Griffin and his wife Erin Griffin. Her sisters, Gina Hollifield and Annette Jennings. And a brother Paul Jennings and his wife Kat Jennings. Plenty of nieces and nephews and tons of friends including the entire Rash family. She is proceeded in death by father G.W. " Dick " Jennings and mother Virginia Franklin Jennings. And her sister Rita Jennings. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 27th at 2:00 p.m. to remember Brenda's life and celebrate the wonderful times we all shared with her.
