Brenda Eva Gosnell Crawford

Brenda Eva Gosnell Crawford, 76, of Weaverville, NC passed away July 28, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Brenda was born in Madison Co, NC to the late Ernest and Laura Mae Gosnell. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Thelma Gosnell Fore, Thada Gosnell Hunter; brothers, Delmas Gosnell, James Edward Gosnell, Charles Robert Gosnell, and Alvin David Gosnell.

Surviving Brenda are her sons, Leonard Crawford of Weaverville, NC, Brian Crawford of Weaverville, NC; adopted brother, Jimmy Dean Gosnell; grandchildren, Rachel Crawford (Mitchell Foster) of Weaverville, NC, Kriston Silvers (Brandon) of Weaverville, NC; nephews, Lewis Hunter (Missy) of Lexington, NC, Joseph Fore, Wayne Gosnell, Alvin Gosnell Jr., James Gosnell; great grandchildren, Braylan Silvers of Burnsville, NC, Skylar Silvers of Burnsville, NC, Karlie Silvers of Burnsville, NC, and Rylan Silvers of Burnsville, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on August 10, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC, with Rev. Dr. Stuart Lamkini and Rev. Dr. Jim McCoy. She will be inurned at Scott Family Cemetery.
