Beverly Gwen Wells

Beverly Gwen Wells, 67, of Leicester, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 21. 2021 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, NC. Born August 24, 1954 in Lincoln, NC, she was a daughter of the late James Austin and Barbara Tate. She was a graduate of A-B Tech where she received her nursing degree. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Wesley Wells; brothers, Randy and David Austin; and half-brother, Chuck Austin. Surviving is her son, Randy Wells of Leicester, NC; sister, Jovi Reis and her spouse, Gordon, of Asheville, NC; half-siblings, Steve Austin of Lincolnton, NC and Amy Redmon of Charlotte, NC; step-mother, Rachel Austin of Lincolnton, NC; daughter-in-law, Athena Wells; 3 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Brick Church in Leicester, NC with a visitation an hour prior. Burial will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery.
