Barbara Ann Dutton

Barbara Ann Dutton, 81 of Strasburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully January 9, 2025 in her home in Asheville, NC. She was born March 10, 1943 to Wanetah (née Boone) and Earl Ball.

Barbara graduated from Cosmetology School in Canton, Ohio and was a career beautician. She worked at a few different salons in the area, but quickly found a home at My Lady Beauty Salon in Strasburg, Ohio from where she retired after nearly 30yrs.

She is survived by her sons T.J. Dutton and Michael (Terri) Dutton; her daughter-in-law Melody Dutton and Sarah Dutton; her grandchildren Jessica (Paul) Williard, Matthew (Caitlyn), Ethan (Megan), Madeline, Nova and Indigo Dutton; and her great grandchildren Simon, Benjamin and Emily Williard. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her son Jeffery Dutton, husband Thomas L. Dutton and brother James Ball.

Barbara’s pride and joy were her grandchildren whom she loved “to the moon and back”. She will be missed by dearest friends Laurel Wemple and Fran Gerber as well as her family.

A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
