Barbara Jean Burrell

Barbara Jean Hollifield Burrell, 86, of Arden, NC, passed away October 27, 2023 at the Four Seasons Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC. Barbara was born in Asheville, NC to the late Tilden Carter Hollifield and Lillie Katherine Patton. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Lindsey Burrell. Surviving Barbara are her daughters, Pamela Jean Burrell of Arden, NC, Angela Lindsey Burrell-Young (Daniel) of Asheville, NC; brother, Robert A Hollifield of South Carolina; grandsons, Andrew Young of Asheville, NC, William Young of Asheville, NC; several nephews, a niece, and multiple great nephews, and great nieces. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on November 18, 2023 at New Bridge Baptist Church with Clark Henderson officiating. Barbara will be interred at New Salem Cemetery.
