Angela Yvon (Ray) Ball

Angela Yvon “Angie” Ray Ball, 60, of Asheville, NC, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at Mission Hospital.

Angie was born on May 4, 1964 in Muddy Creek, VA, to the late David Ray and Edna Putnam. She graduated from Erwin High School. Angie enjoyed coloring and playing games. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. Angela will always be loved and missed. We will send prayers for her in heaven until we meet again.

Surviving Angie is her loving husband of 43 and ½ years, James David Ball; sons, David W. Ball (Mandy Thomes of Asheville, NC, Bobby D. Ball of Asheville, NC, Jayden K. Ball of Asheville, NC; daughter, Angel M. Smith (Ashley) of Asheville, NC; sister, Barbara J. Gillis (Randy) of Alabama; granddaughters, Destiny Charlene, Jaylin Mae (Jacob), Aries Mae Ball; grandsons, Aairon Calloway III, Bryson Smith, and Harley Smith, all of Asheville, NC.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
