Andy Younger Obituary

Andy Ray Younger, 63, of Weaverville passed away suddenly on Friday, December 25, 2020 at his home. Born September 25, 1957 in Fullerton, CA, he was a son of the late William Raymond Younger and Betty Louise Carver Call. He was a graduate of Sunny Hills High School in California, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Marshall, NC, and enjoyed golfing with his uncle, Jack Carver. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Reaves, and niece, Rebecca Reaves. Surviving are his sister, Jackie Clinton of Barnardsville; nieces, Melissa Merrill, Rhonda Higgins, and Amanda Clinton; nephew, Tony Lee Clinton, Jr.; and several great nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge Mary Ann Shipman for all of the care she provided Andy through the years. In keeping with Mr. Younger’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
