Albert Scott Comfort

Albert “Bud” Scott Comfort, Jr., 37, of Asheville, NC passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at his home. Born July 20, 1983 in Bartow, FL, he was the son of Donna Smith Anderson and her spouse, Steve Anderson, of Lakeland, FL, and the late Albert Scott Comfort. He was a self employed painter. Some of his enjoyments in life were working on cars, riding his Honda Magna, and fishing. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Kay Comfort. Surviving are his children, Michael and Matthew Comfort both of Asheville, NC, and Addison and Kayde Comfort both of Fyffe, AL; siblings, Tina Runyon of Perkins, IN, Joann Kirkland of Lakeland, FL, and Patrick Kelly of Asheville, NC; and grandmother, Virginia Alcock of Lakeland, FL.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
