Adele Kronick Shuart, 91, of Asheville passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Elderberry Healthcare in Marshall, NC. Born January 31, 1930 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late, Max and Anna Kronick. She was a graduate of Lexington School for the Deaf in New York and an alumnus of both Gallaudet University where she received a B.A. in English and George Washington University where she received a M.A. in Education. She was employed most of her career as a Client Assistance Specialist for Maryland Client Assistance Program. Of her many enjoyments in life, world travel, teaching sign language, and playing Mahjong with friends were among her favorites. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Pete Shuart; daughter, Karen Shuart; and siblings, Henrietta Kronick and Philip Kronick. Surviving is her son, George Mark Shuart of Asheville, NC. No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you donate to your preferred charitable organization in memorial of Adele Shuart.
