William Drake Obituary

William Arthur Drake, 58, of Fletcher, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2019 at the John F. Keever Jr., Solace Center in Asheville. Born on December 18, 1960 in Columbus, OH, he was the son of the late William and Allison Drake. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Living Savior Lutheran Church in Asheville. He was a talented chef and owned his own food truck named D.O.G.S. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a stepson, James Fritsche. Surviving are his loving spouse of 34 years, Marlene Fritsche Drake; sister, Lynn Faust of Shepherdsville, KY; stepdaughter, Lina Shutts and her spouse, Adam, of Union, KY; and step-grandchildren, Silas, Logan, and Lily. A memorial service will be announced in up coming days.
