Virginia Elizabeth (Forehand) Bayless

Virginia Forehand Bayless, 77, of Hendersonville passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. Born on September 28, 1940 in Cottonwood, AL, she was the daughter of the late Shelley B. and Tavie Shivers Forehand. She was a graduate of Cottonwood High School in Cottonwood, AL class of 1958. In 2012, she retired after 15 years of service from the Laurels of Hendersonville where she had been employed as an LPN. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Robert Bayless, and brothers, Shelby and Earl Forehand. Surviving are her children, Lori Kent of Asheville, Branden Bayless of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Shelly Kent of Greenwood, SC, and Sean Kent and his partner, Ceyanne Brooks, of Asheville; and a great-grandson, Landen Kent.
