Robert Lamar Rampey

Robert Lamar Rampey, 73, of Sanford, NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. Born October 15, 1945 in Georgia, he was a son of the late Jack and Alice Rampey. He worked as a truck driver most of his life and enjoyed working on older cars and small engines and being outside. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Rampey and siblings, Buddy Rampey, Charlie Rampey, Tommy Rampey, Carol Smith, and Mary Smith. Surviving are his children, Dana R. Mills and her spouse, Mark, of Hendersonville, NC, Robin L. Hall and her spouse, Byron, Vicki L. Pineda and her spouse, Ramero, all of Arcadia, FL, Allen Kinney and his spouse, Renee, and Phillip Kinney and spouse, Cassie; nineteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In keeping will his wishes, no services will be held.
