Raymond Curtis Owens, 90, of Asheville, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at his home.
Raymond was a gunsmith who loved cats and airplanes.
Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Nolan Owens; father, Charles Jefferson Owens; mother, Roma Omega Thornbury Owens; brothers: Charles Owens, Paul Owens, and sister, Garnet Owens.
Surviving Raymond are his sons, Barry Owens (Susan) of Swannanoa, NC, David Owens, of Asheville, NC, Jerry Owens (Melissa) of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren: Caleb, Justin, Coleman, Amanda, Katherine, Kendall, Keegan; great-grandchildren: Shelby, River, Josie, and Jameson.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
